2008 Mishcon de Reya listed in the top 100 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For

2007

The Employment Group won the Employment Team of the Year award at the annual Lawyer Awards ceremony and Hazel Donaldson was named Assistant Solicitor of the Year.

2006

Sadly, in January 2006 Lord Mishcon passed away aged 90. Prime Minister Tony Blair led tributes.

MdR Mediation Services Limited was established to provide the services of trained mediators to non-clients.

2005 Lord Mishcon, founder of Mishcon de Reya, celebrated his 90th birthday.
2004 The first issues of Property Matters and First Person were published to deliver legal updates and news to Real Estate clients and private individuals respectively.
2002 Lord Mishcon officially opened the Firm's new offices at Summit House, Red Lion Square and Simon Bentley was appointed deputy chairman. Mishcon Corporate Finance Ltd also entered into a joint venture with corporate finance boutique Arkios.
2001 The Firm represented Professor Deborah Lipstadt in her successful defence of David Irving's claim that he had been libelled in her book ‘Denying the Holocaust’. The Lord Justices agreed that Irving was “one of the most dangerous spokespersons for Holocaust denial.”
1997 The Firm branched out and developed niche expertise in fields such as design law and employment. The Firm also went online with its first website.
1996 Anthony Julius represented Diana, Princess of Wales in her divorce. He was also instrumental in forming The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund after her tragic death.
1995 The Firm’s Real Estate department doubled in size with the joining of substantial teams from Brecher & Co and Rabin Leacock Lipman.
1994 A large team from Bayer Rosin joined that included many commercial lawyers as well as current Managing Partner Kevin Gold.
1992 The Firm grew to 120 staff and moved into new premises at 21 Southampton Row. The Special Investigations and Fraud Unit was formed and John Jackson was appointed as non-executive chairman.
1988 Victor Mishcon & Co merged with part of Bartletts de Reya to form Mishcon de Reya. The new firm employed 80 staff.
1961 A second office is opened at 125 High Holborn with 15 employees.
1937 Lord Victor Mishcon founded Victor Mishcon & Co - a one man office in Brixton, London.
